Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP) is a high-analysis phosphorus fertilizer containing 12% nitrogen and 61% P2O5, making it one of the most concentrated phosphate fertilizers available. It is produced by reacting phosphoric acid with ammonia in a controlled process.
MAP is particularly effective as a starter fertilizer and for fertigation systems due to its high solubility and low pH reaction in soil. It promotes excellent root development and early growth, making it ideal for transplanting, seedling production, and high-value crops.
